GMH - Gives Me Hope

A little girl was dying of cancer and her younger brother had a match for the bone marrow she needed. The doctors told him it was a matter of life and death. After he had the surgery, he asked the doctors how long he had to live. He thought if he gave his bone marrow to let his sister live he would die but he did it anyway. GMH

Old entry, same thoughts.

I'm sitting here, drinking my 500th cup of coffee and trying to do my research paper with a crazy topic. My new years resolution 2007 was to live life to the fullest. Oh and you know me, I've been living it upp despite a few setbacks along the way. Throughout these past few months, I've learned so much about myself, and about people who I thought I knew. People change a whole damn lot, real fast. One thing I definitely learned was that one needs to forget what another person feels, and start remembering what one deserves. If you know that you deserve better, by all means, follow that thought through. Don't make excuses like, "In time it will get better..."I'm pretty sure in time it'll get worst, no doubt. If something gets you down for one reason or another, don't let it get to you, in fact, let it go. No one needs negativity, especially if times are harsh. Don't over think your thoughts. Don't go turning into an emotional wreck for something that could be easily laughed at a few years later. Confide in your friends, family, or the family you create yourself, because they'll always be there for you no matter what. Always keep your head high because haters would kill to see you fall. You know it, I know it. Always try to be optimistic because it really makes you feel better. I've been optimistic throughout the years and it's a great feeling to have, especially if your optimism proves people wrong. Optimistic Person A is failing all their classes, and no one believes in him/her anymore. If Person A works hard, and stays optimistic, and ends up with Straight A's, that person can enjoy that accomplished feeling AND rub it in to the people who didn't believe him/her in the first place. Everyone loves that feeling. Don't live life with regrets. If you regretted an action you did in the past, don't, because at that time, you really wanted to do it...that's why you did it. By living with regrets, you're really living a life full of excuses. "I can't believe I went streaking in the middle of the party." Everytime a person brings the subject up, you'll make excuses everytime to cover up the embarassment. Instead of trying to hide from the truth, call it out. Although this sounds rough, some people shouldn't be forgiven. I solemnly believe that if someone fucks me over that badly, there's no way they are getting my trust back. People know me, I'm a care-free, down to earth kid who doesn't get mad easily (even going as far as saying - ever). But damn, if you do, GL. So, live life with no regrets, try to be optimistic, don't let problems get to you, remember what you deserve, and partyy hard =)
